Introdution:

Flax is mainly produced in Canada, China, Argentina and the United States. Flax seeds brought back by Zhang Qian, a special envoy of the Han Dynasty, when he went to the western regions in the 2nd century B.C. were planted in Xinjiang, Gansu, Ningxia, Heilongjiang, Jilin, Inner Mongolia, Shanxi and Northeast China. Initially, flax seeds were mainly used for medicinal purposes. It was not until the 16th century that the seeds were used to extract oil. Today, flax seeds are one of the major cash crops in China and also the main oil crops planted in the alpine regions of North China, northwest and Northeast China.

The total content of crude protein, fat and total sugar in flaxseed was 84.07%. Flaxseed protein has a complete range of amino acids, and the content of essential amino acids is as high as 5.16%. It is a plant protein with high nutritional value.

In linseed oil α- The content of linolenic acid is 53%, α- Linolenic acid is an essential fatty acid of human body, which can be converted into eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid in human body. They are effective active ingredients in fish oil.
